Will my dog still hear with them on?
Yes. SnoozyPups ear muffs muffle loud noises like fireworks, thunder and vacuums. They don't block all sound, and that's on purpose: your dog can still hear you. Many dogs settle much better with the loud booms softened.
Will my dog keep them on?
Most do. The fabric is soft and stretchy and the velcro strap holds them in place. Some dogs need a few tries to get used to them, so see the tip below.
How do I get my dog used to them?
Start a few days before the big night. Put them on for a minute or two at a calm time, give treats and praise, then take them off. Make each session a little longer. That way your dog connects the ear muffs with good things, not with scary noises.
What size do I need?
See our Size Guide. If your dog is between sizes, go one size up.
My dog is under 15 lb. Will it fit?
Our smallest size is made for dogs from about 17 lb. Some owners of smaller dogs have had it work, but we can't promise a good fit.
Can my dog wear them for grooming or swimming?
Yes. Lots of owners use them during baths, hair drying and grooming. They also help keep water out of the ears when swimming.
How do I wash them?
Hand wash in cool water with mild soap and let them air dry.
